October 6, 2019Fall Festival
Time: 9:30 am
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Scrip Program at OLL, here’s how it works:
What is Scrip?
When you purchase Scrip, you are purchasing gift certificates that are used just like cash. The Scrip is issued by the national and local retailers where many of you already shop. You can use Scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials – and it doesn’t cost you any extra money! In fact, it saves you money!
Why order Scrip?
When you order Scrip, 2% is donated to the parish, and the rest of the percentage goes directly to you.
For example, if you order a $100.00 Kohl’s gift card (the discount is 5%), 2% ($2.00) would go to OLL and 3% ($3.00) would go to you.
The money you earn throughout the year can be put towards:
- Catholic School Tuition
- Church dues
- Mission Trip Fees
- Religious Education Fees
How does it work?
Orders can be placed at the parish office or the Cedar Valley Cheese Store. Scrip will also be available after Sunday Mass. Fill out the form and include a check for the total amount written out to “Our Lady of the Lakes Scrip”. The gift cards will be available the next week.
It’s that easy!
