A message from the Principal/Administrator
In the book of Genesis we are encouraged to respond when we are called “Here I am Lord”. We here at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School and Child Care Center welcome this call from the Lord and respond ‘we are here’. This institution is a unique, hidden diamond of a place of education. We believe the Lord and his Blessed Mother walks our halls daily, placing a comforting hand on all who enter. We invite you to join us.
Aside from the opportunity for an excellent education the thing that makes us special is our Catholic foundation. Religious training is a significant part of our educational process. We strive to assist our children to become fundamentally sound in their religion and education. We provide a safe environment. Our children learn to be responsible citizens of their church and of their community. Respect for all of the things the Lord has made is part of our very foundation. A strong appreciation for tolerance and love of our neighbors is a welcome result of the experience here at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School.
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School offers a strong foundation in the four major academic areas; Math, Science, Social Studies, & Language skills. In addition our students learn a greater appreciation for the Fine Arts (Music & Art) and the Applied Arts (Technology). Our students are given an opportunity to grow physically as well through a Physical Education and athletic program developed for their age level.
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Child Care Center provides the pre-school age children a chance to grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord and His Mother in addition to an early start in developing their academic foundation. The Child Care Center provides a loving, nurturing, safe environment in which our smallest children can grow.
